Water Lilies

On a hot summer day, wouldn't you love to jump in this dark and lovely lake? This refreshing image was photographed by my friend Sharon who is currently living in her cabin on Crane Lake. Sharon is a True Minnesotan (see July 4th posting for definition of a True Minnesotan.) She has a CABIN. She even has a BOAT to get to her cabin, because it is on a tiny island with no other way to get to it. The cabin has been in her husband's family for over 100 years, and it is only 30 minutes from their home in Minneapolis. When you visit them on Crane Island, time is suspended.

I just thought you needed a little water therapy to escape all the hot weather we've been experiencing.
