I came across this old photo where I am watching my brother's glee as he discovers that Santa has granted his wish for a real space helmet, and my mother is enjoying the home-made Christmas card that I had labored over the previous day.

Loved the old picture and the space helmet! Isn't it scary how far 'space' has really come. One of my boys went to see Avatar last night. He says it will be another revolution in theater and science fiction as Star Wars once was.
Isn't that helmet the best? It's why I love this picture so much, it's just hilarious! I am dying to see Avatar, the previews are really amazing. I love anything to do with "space".
